What a year this has already been. In January l left on a 2month trip of Europe and Scandinavia. – I attended the Royal and Ancient Polar Bear Society Annual General Meeting in Hammerfest, Norway, got snowed on for the first time, traveled further north to Kirkenes where I went dog sledding and snowmobiling. I met up with a photographer friend and another Icelandic based photographer and circumnavigated Iceland where I got 3 amazingly incredible nights of watching and photographing Aurora Borealis (definite a must see first hand). Witness my first Blizzard and photographed some amazing scenery. Slovenia and attended Carnival in Venice, visited friends in Germany and London and generally enjoyed the wintery scenes that presented themselves throughout Europe. I also managed to take some pretty pictures as well. The results of which are contained in my Galleries.
So now it is May and today I am having my second photographic exhibition. It is nerve racking and exhilarating all at the same time. I just hope I raise a lot of money for Parkinson’s research and support services.
